I’d be happy to help you Ryan. I also purchased cheap windshields for my car to save money and as much as possible, I try to care for them the best possible way so I don’t need to replace my windshields anytime soon. I got them online by getting quotes first. Super cheap!

Anyway, to make sure that my windshields are on their best condition, I examine them regularly to see if there are cracks or chips. As you know Ryan, chips and cracks appear in various shapes, sizes, and forms – some of these are serious which could lead to replacing your windshields. If you found a chip or crack that is coned-shape, circle-shaped, or as if stars with points are spreading out, have the windshields fixed as soon as possible. These are serious cracks which could spread and lead to bigger cracks and lead you to replace your windshields completely.

Another thing to do is to consult a professional technician if you found a crack on your windshield that is as big as a quarter or bulls-eye crack. If you think that getting self repair kits would fix those damages, forget it because trying to fix it yourself could only worsen the damage and may even lead to bigger damages.
